ProMotion includes a library of AI-curated motion templates that adapt to user assets—logos, images, and copy—automatically sizing and timing animations for platform-specific formats. Canva's auto-keyframing analyzes intent and adds subtle easing curves to preserve motion consistency across scenes.

The interface surfaces suggested durations, export codecs, and engagement heuristics so marketers can optimize content for different channels. ProMotion also includes accessibility overlays that suggest text durations and motion reduction options for compliance.

The feature is integrated into Canva's existing collaboration workflow; teams can iterate on motion variants and lock animation tokens for brand consistency. ProMotion will be part of Canva's pro tier with extra templates available to enterprise customers.
