Canva secured $150 million to support a push towards offline-capable mobile editing, enabling teams to work without internet connectivity and sync changes later. The company says this feature responds to users in regions with unreliable connectivity and enterprise customers with strict offline requirements.
Beyond offline editing, Canva will invest heavily in enterprise-grade template libraries, version control for approved templates, and tighter administration controls for brand governance. The company also plans to expand integrations with enterprise DAM systems and single sign-on providers.
Canva frames the round as a step toward bridging consumer ease-of-use with enterprise reliability. Executives stress that preserving usability while adding governance is central to their roadmap.
