Canvas AI launches BrandMate to automate brand-consistent marketing assets

BrandMate lets marketing and design teams upload brand tokens—colors, typography, logo guidelines—and then generates cohesive campaigns across formats: social posts, banners, landing pages, and video templates. The system includes an approval flow and a brand audit tool that flags deviations from guidelines.
Canvas AI raised $12 million in seed capital from Foundry VC and several marketing SaaS angels, with plans to accelerate hiring in product and partnerships. CEO Lena Ortiz said the product addresses the recurring friction between central brand teams and distributed marketing teams by making brand-compliant outputs the default.
The company also released integrations with major CMS and ad platforms, enabling generated assets to be pushed to campaigns directly. BrandMate is available now as a SaaS offering with usage-based pricing and an enterprise tier for teams that need centralized controls and audit logs.
