CanvasXR launches collaborative spatial prototyping tool with $30M seed led by Accel

CanvasXR today launched its collaborative spatial prototyping platform that lets designers and engineers co-edit 3D scenes, animate transitions, and test interactions directly in browser-connected headsets. The company also announced a $30 million seed round led by Accel with participation from Lux Capital and several gaming-focused angels.

The product focuses on rapid iteration: live scene syncing, versioned interaction flowcharts, and one-click publishing to popular headsets including Quest and Pico. Designers can import assets from Blender, Figma, and Unity, and CanvasXR converts 2D layout semantics into spatial constraints for consistent interactions.

CanvasXR says funds will go to improve latency for distributed teams, build native integrations with Unreal Engine, and launch an enterprise tier aimed at retail and industrial AR clients. The company highlighted early adopters in automotive and remote training piloting cross-team design sessions.
