CartaScope Raises $7M to Bring Visual Analytics to Product Design
Tech · 3 min read
CartaScope closed a $7 million seed round to develop a visual analytics layer that overlays product analytics on top of design artifacts. Teams can see which screens and components correlate with drop-off, conversion and engagement, enabling targeted design interventions.
The product connects to event pipelines and design systems to bridge the designer-engineer divide; it highlights components with high cognitive load or unexpected interaction patterns. Designers can create prioritized task lists and export spec changes directly from the analytics view.
Product teams welcomed a tighter feedback loop between user behavior and design changes, though privacy and session-matching accuracy were called out as areas needing careful implementation. CartaScope says it uses hashed session keys and configurable retention policies to address concerns.
Funding will be used to enhance signal inference, build richer journey visualizations, and expand connectors to major analytics and design platforms.
