Cipher Labs announced a $120 million growth round led by Luminar Growth to scale its homomorphic and secure enclave-based AI services. Its platform enables organizations to run models on encrypted datasets without exposing raw inputs to service operators, targeting finance, healthcare, and government sectors.
The company is releasing a managed offering that bundles model hosting, encrypted pipelines, and compliance controls with logging and attestations. Cipher also introduced developer SDKs to simplify integration with existing ML stacks.
Funds will be used to expand regional cloud partnerships, invest in performance optimization, and develop certification processes for regulated environments. Cipher expects the encrypted AI market to expand rapidly as data protection rules tighten globally.
