Clarion raises $36M and launches AccessCheck, an automated accessibility QA platform for designers

Clarion announced a $36 million Series A round led by Equality Capital and launched AccessCheck, a platform that embeds automated accessibility QA directly into design workflows. AccessCheck analyzes design files and running prototypes for color contrast, focus order, keyboard navigation, and screen-reader compatibility, and it supplies remediation suggestions and code snippets that developers can use to implement fixes quickly.
The platform integrates with design tools, component libraries, and CI/CD pipelines to provide continuous accessibility checks throughout the product lifecycle. Clarion emphasizes that AccessCheck is built for collaboration between designers, developers, and QA, and includes reporting features to help teams track remediation progress and conformance to WCAG guidelines.
Funds from the round will expand language and platform coverage, build more robust remediations for complex components, and grow Clarion’s enterprise sales team. Early enterprise customers cite faster time-to-compliance and reduced rework when accessibility is flagged earlier in design.
