CloudWing raises $150M to expand regional cloud with sustainability guarantees
Tech · 5 min read
CloudWing's pitch centers on a regional cloud that schedules workloads to minimize carbon intensity and on providing audited sustainability claims for enterprise customers. The $150 million raise will fund data center expansion in Europe and Southeast Asia and new tooling for carbon-aware orchestration.
The company announced features that let customers set sustainability and latency SLAs, and a scheduler that shifts batch workloads to low-carbon windows and optimizes replication strategy. CloudWing also provides transparency dashboards with verified grid-mix data and third-party attestations.
CloudWing plans to offer migration tools for enterprises moving workloads from hyperscalers and will partner with local renewables providers to procure long-term power purchase agreements. The round signals investor appetite for cloud alternatives that combine regional privacy, performance, and green credentials.
