Cohere launches Cohere Canvas API for natural-language design prototyping

Cohere Canvas accepts product briefs and returns structured prototype artifacts: wireframes, component lists, and annotated interaction flows. Its API emits machine-readable specs and component metadata that front-end teams can convert into scaffolded code.

The Canvas API supports constraints like accessibility thresholds and localization tokens, and integrates with CI pipelines to generate updated stubs as product briefs evolve. Cohere also provided a playground and SDKs for Node and Python to help teams prototype integrations.
