Cohere launches SecureAI for enterprise clouds with certified model enclaves

Cohere today introduced SecureAI, a product line that enables customers to run LLMs inside hardware-backed enclaves with cryptographic attestations and audit logs. SecureAI aims to address enterprise concerns around model provenance, data leakage, and regulatory compliance by offering certified execution environments.

The company also announced a $95 million growth round led by a mix of strategic cloud partners and enterprise investors. Cohere says the funding will strengthen its enterprise go-to-market efforts, expand its compliance engineering teams, and build integrations with private cloud and hybrid cloud setups.

SecureAI supports a tenant-aware orchestration layer that enforces data handling policies and provides full traceability for training and inference operations. Cohere is targeting regulated verticals such as financial services and healthcare, where auditability and data localization are prerequisites for adoption.
