The wallet trades absolute security (single cold-wallet focus) for approachable defaults (auto-backup with cloud encryption) to reduce abandonment. This makes the product more accessible, but it requires clear messaging about trade-offs and recovery responsibilities.

Seed phrase handling received iterative improvements: ephemeral mnemonic reveal with timed confirmation tasks, human-friendly recovery helpers, and an in-app vault mnemonic verification flow. Transaction UX uses pre-execution breakdowns (gas estimate, counterparty reputation) and post-execution receipts that link to external explorers. Users still struggle with gas optimization and swap price slippage, which suggests room for better inline explanations and safer defaults.

Designers should apply progressive security: offer a low-friction path to first success and then guide users to stronger protections as they gain confidence. Use simulated transactions for learning, and make the consequences of choices legible at the moment of decision.
