CortexAI launches Lattice, a small-footprint multimodal model for on-device UX personalization

CortexAI unveiled Lattice, a compact multimodal model built to run on modern mobile SoCs and edge devices to enable on-device UX personalization. Lattice ingests telemetry like interaction patterns, camera context, and voice to adapt interfaces with local privacy guarantees.
The product launch coincided with a $60 million raise led by Atlas Capital for scaling deployments and certifying compatibility across device makers. CortexAI says the on-device approach avoids sending raw user data to servers and supports near-instant personalization changes.
Designers experimenting with Lattice reported that it helped create context-aware UI adjustments—like condensing navigation in single-hand scenarios or surfacing high-priority actions when users are in motion. The company plans partnerships with OEMs and design tool vendors to streamline handoff.
