DesignOps Platform Scout Raises $12M to Automate Accessibility Audits

Scout's updated platform automatically scans design files and code proposals for accessibility issues and surfaces prioritized remediation tasks during design reviews. The capability works across Figma, Sketch, and storybook environments, offering designers contextual fixes and suggested copy changes.

The product emphasizes closure: Scout generates JIRA-ready tickets and code snippets for engineers, and it tracks remediation across releases. Scout built its ruleset in partnership with accessibility consultants and is launching enterprise SLAs for regulated sectors.

The $12 million round was led by Northbridge Ventures, with funds earmarked for compliance certifications, expanding research partnerships, and building collaboration features that help legal, product, and design teams coordinate on accessibility.
