EchoForge raises $19M to debut SoundScape, a sonic design system studio for product teams
Design · 3 min read
SoundScape treats sound as a first-class design token, letting teams define sonic identities, map sounds to states, and ensure global consistency. EchoForge’s tool generates reusable assets and provides rulesets for runtime mixing, ducking, and adaptive audio behavior.
The Series A, led by Harmony Ventures, will be used to expand synthesis capabilities and platform exports (Wwise, FMOD, mobile SDKs). EchoForge also introduced a governance console that allows brand teams to lock core audio cues while enabling feature teams to propose safe variations.
Designers and audio leads said SoundScape reduced inconsistencies and made it easier to test audio across contexts and devices. EchoForge plans collaboration features for remote sound reviews and analytics that tie sonic changes to engagement metrics.
