EchoFrame raises $50M to fund next-gen audio UX platform with spatial AI

EchoFrame announced a $50 million funding round to accelerate development of an audio UX platform that leverages spatial AI for precise sound placement and context-aware audio cues. The product targets AR/VR experiences, navigation apps, and accessibility-first audio interfaces.
The platform offers an authoring environment for designers to place sound objects in 3D space, automatically adapt audio to environment acoustics, and tune audio affordances for discoverability. EchoFrame's spatial models can estimate occlusion and reverberation to maintain consistent audio semantics across devices.
Funding will be used to expand platform integrations, build partnerships with headset makers, and extend the SDK to include low-latency streaming for live events. EchoFrame is also investing in accessibility research to make spatial audio more effective for users with visual impairments.
