Led by ArchSpark Capital, the round will fund capacity expansion, partnerships with BIM software vendors, and R&D into physically accurate materials libraries. EchoRender’s service converts BIM files into optimized scenes and renders them with path-tracing techniques on hybrid GPU clusters.
The offering includes collaborative scene editing, live lighting tweaks, and VR-ready exports. EchoRender highlighted a demo where a 30,000-square-foot model rendered interactively with global illumination in under a second per frame using cloud caching and probe reuse.
The company plans to offer pay-as-you-go rendering credits and enterprise contracts for large studios. EchoRender’s CTO said their roadmap includes a plugin for Revit and a materials marketplace curated by architectural partners.
