EchoSense launches Sentinet, a privacy-first audio intelligence SDK, with $12M seed

Sentinet provides on-device keyword spotting, speaker diarization, and sentiment analysis with a small runtime footprint designed for edge devices. EchoSense emphasized privacy: user audio is processed locally, and only metadata or consented transcripts are optionally sent to the cloud.
The $12 million seed financing will go to expanding supported languages, partnerships with silicon vendors for hardware acceleration, and developer tooling. EchoSense plans to open an enterprise license for regulated verticals with additional compliance features like data retention controls and audit logs.
Developers can trial Sentinet through a freemium model that includes the basic SDK and a limited quota of cloud-enhanced features. EchoSense said the approach balances on-device privacy with the ability to leverage cloud models for non-sensitive use cases.
