EchoSense raises $42M and launches tactile UX SDK for haptics-enabled devices

EchoSense announced a $42 million round led by Accel to commercialize a tactile UX SDK that helps designers and engineers author, test, and deploy haptic experiences across mobile, game controllers, and wearables. The SDK exposes primitives for micro-vibrations, spatialized pulses, and adaptive intensity curves.

The launch includes a browser-based haptic editor, device calibration tools, and a runtime that adapts patterns to hardware capabilities and battery constraints. EchoSense targets both product UX teams and game studios looking to deepen immersion with consistent haptics.

The funding will be used to expand hardware partnerships, build certified pattern libraries for popular devices, and develop cloud tooling that allows A/B testing of haptic profiles in the wild.
