EchoSketch raises $5M to build a voice-first whiteboard for distributed teams

EchoSketch announced a $5 million seed round led by SeedBridge to build a voice-first whiteboard that turns workshop conversations into structured visual outcomes. The tool uses speech recognition and semantic mapping to create sticky notes, arrows, and task lists as people speak.

EchoSketch emphasizes synchronous and asynchronous workflows: during a live session, a facilitator can 'call' a shape or task into being with natural language, while asynchronous review can surface decisions and action items automatically. The product integrates with calendar tools and task managers to export next steps.

Data privacy and GDPR compliance are core features; EchoSketch offers on-premise and private cloud deployment for organizations with sensitive IP. The company plans to add multilingual support and a designer-in-the-loop mode that refines AI-suggested layouts.

The seed funding will be used to expand engineering and UX design teams, build ecosystem integrations, and pilot with distributed product teams at scaleups and consultancies.
