EchoStudio Unveils Spatial Audio SDK for Web and Scores $10M Seed

EchoStudio announced a $10 million seed led by SoundWave Capital to launch a real-time spatial audio SDK designed for web and mobile platforms. The SDK supports head-tracked binaural rendering, room acoustics simulation, and low-latency networked audio for live performances.

Developers can integrate the SDK with three lines of products: games, AR experiences, and virtual venues. EchoStudio touts cross-platform parity and deterministic audio behavior across devices, which is important for multiplayer games and synchronized performances.

The seed funding will be used to build more platform adapters, improve latency over unreliable networks, and open a creator marketplace for spatial audio assets and impulse responses. Early partners include two indie game studios and a virtual concert promoter testing the SDK in production.
