Fable Design raises $28M to expand its generative UX assistant for product teams
Design · 5 min read
Fable’s assistant integrates into popular design environments and uses product constraints to generate mockups, annotated flows, and iterative microcopy. The tool focuses on speeding early-stage exploration while keeping designers in the loop through granular edit controls.
The new funding, a Series A led by Meridian Ventures, will be used to improve multimodal capabilities and integrate better with design systems and component libraries. Fable plans APIs that let engineering teams sync generated artifacts with front-end code repositories.
The company emphasizes collaborative features that allow product managers, engineers, and researchers to comment directly on generated proposals. Fable also announced a pilot with an enterprise banking client to adapt designs for stringent regulatory labeling and accessibility requirements.
