FigJam adds AI facilitation: meeting summarization and action‑item generation
Design · 3 min read
The AI facilitator listens to session artifacts — sticky notes, frames, and comments — and produces concise summaries and prioritized action items. It can create GitHub issues or tasks in project management tools, prefilled with context, links, and suggested assignees.
Facilitator outputs include a confidence score and a changelog showing how summaries were composed from board elements, allowing participants to vet the assistant’s interpretation. Teams can customize tone (formal, concise, empathetic) and define templates for recurring meeting types.
Designers appreciated time savings on meeting follow‑ups, although some teams customized sensitivity filters to avoid auto‑publishing drafts. FigJam rolled the feature to enterprise accounts first and will expand to free tiers with usage limits.
