The new telemetry surfaces who is editing which frames, how long selections persist, and provides heatmaps of activity across pages so PMs and lead designers can spot bottlenecks.

When concurrent edits collide, Figma's assistant offers auto-merge suggestions that respect component hierarchy, with an option to preview merged states and roll back automatically. The system highlights semantic conflicts—like differing typography scales—rather than raw pixel diffs.

Figma also added team-level settings to adjust merge aggressiveness and audit trails for review. The company said this update was informed by large enterprise clients balancing rapid iteration and governance.
