Figma Enhances Auto Layout with constraint inference and responsive presets

The Auto Layout update brings a constraint inference engine that predicts likely horizontal and vertical constraints for frames based on content relationships and previous design patterns. Designers can accept inferred constraints or edit them before applying.
Responsive presets provide one-click adaptations for buttons, cards, and lists across typical breakpoints and density settings. Presets include accessibility-aware scaling rules and spacing adjustments to preserve reading flow.
Figma says these enhancements will cut routine resizing work and improve fidelity when exporting specs to developers. The company also added documentation and sample files for teams migrating older files to the new Auto Layout behaviors.
