Figma rolls out Real-Time Multimodal Props and one-click code export

Multimodal Props let components accept text prompts, images, and data references to generate internal states. Designers can attach a short prompt to a button or card, and Figma will synthesize placeholder content, aria labels, and suggested variant rules automatically.
The one-click export transforms selected components and their variants into clean, idiomatic code for React, Vue, Svelte, and Flutter. Exports include story files and documentation stubs that map back to the component's props and constraints, enabling engineers to import components with minimal translation.
Figma also improved its collaboration model: designers can now lock generated props with annotations for engineers and create a diffable history of prompt changes. The company says this iteration is built from years of beta feedback from large product teams and open-source contributors.
