Flux Forge Unveils 'Instant Level' Tool for Indie Game Makers; Raises $7M Seed

Flux Forge debuted Instant Level, a designer-focused tool that ingests sketches, tile sets, and design constraints to generate playable levels that respect pacing, difficulty curves, and accessible routing.

The product uses a combination of procedural grammar and ML-based pattern recognition to suggest alternative layouts and placements for enemies, pickups, and spectacle moments. Designers can iterate quickly, lock down rooms, and export directly to Unity or Godot.

Flux Forge raised $7 million to build editor integrations, add multiplayer-aware layout rules, and launch a community library of rule packs curated by designers and level architects.

For small teams and solo developers, Instant Level promises major time savings, but designers must still playtest generated layouts to ensure emergent gameplay doesn't derail intended player experiences.
