Flux Studio launches 'FlowBoard': realtime collaborative prototyping board for hybrid teams
Design · 4 min read
FlowBoard is a collaboration surface that combines whiteboarding, wireframing, and micro-prototyping with low-latency cursor sharing and time-synced session playback. The $9 million seed round will go toward improving cross-app integrations and building a scalable collaboration backend.
The product introduces 'session layers'—temporal layers that let teams replay changes by contributor and by timestamp—and a versioned component library that enforces token use during live edits. Flux Studio aims to reduce friction during hybrid critique sessions where asynchronous context is often lost.
Teams reported faster alignment during cross-functional reviews and appreciated the ability to replay a critique to capture action items. FlowBoard also supports stakeholder tagging and automated minutes generation to aid follow-ups.
Flux Studio plans plugins for major design and productivity tools and wants to position FlowBoard as the meeting surface that preserves institutional knowledge across iterative design cycles.
