FluxDrive Debuts Petabyte-Scale SSD Array for Edge Data Centers, Closes $100M Growth Round

FluxDrive's new array packs NVMe SSD modules into a power-efficient chassis that supports hot-swapping and inline compression. The system targets edge data centers and telco PoPs where rack density and power budgets are constrained but latency-sensitive content caching and analytics require local storage.

Key software features include tiered caching policies, local erasure coding optimized for intermittent connectivity, and an orchestration plugin for common edge platforms. FluxDrive emphasized predictable tail latency under mixed workloads as a differentiator for CDN and gaming partners.

The $100 million round, led by Frontier Equity, will fund factory build-out, partnerships with network operators, and a developer program to drive ecosystem integrations. FluxDrive plans a phased rollout beginning with North American telco partners this quarter.
