FluxMotion launches motion design cloud with version control for animations
Design · 4 min read
FluxMotion, a motion design tooling startup, launched MotionCloud today—a cloud service that integrates with After Effects, Figma, Lottie, and native engine timelines. MotionCloud offers versioned animation timelines, frame-accurate diffs, and asynchronous review tools tailored to motion designers and engineers.
Key features include replayable diffs that show frame-by-frame changes, annotation lanes linked to storybook components, and an embeddable player that lets PMs and engineers comment at specific timestamps. FluxMotion also provides export presets that translate motion curves and easing parameters to CSS, Swift, and JVM equivalents to reduce drift between design and implementation.
Early customers report faster sign-off cycles for motion and fewer regressions in interaction polish. FluxMotion said enterprise pricing includes on-prem connectors to native asset storage and role-based access for studios with strict IP controls.
