Folio launches UXFlow, a real-time collaborative prototyping tool, with $15M seed

Folio's UXFlow focuses on reducing friction between designers, researchers, and product managers by combining high-fidelity prototyping with integrated moderated and unmoderated user testing. UXFlow's session recorder captures interaction traces and maps them to clickable prototypes that designers can iterate on in real time.

The startup raised $15 million in seed funding led by Studio Capital and a group of design-focused angels. Folio said the funds will go toward product development, growing its customer success team, and partnerships with design system vendors to provide plug-and-play components.

UXFlow's other notable features include versioned design system enforcement, AI-assisted copy and microcopy suggestions trained on brand voice, and a participant recruitment module that integrates with panel providers. Folio plans to offer an enterprise tier with SSO, data residency, and advanced analytics later this year.
