Forge Foundry raises $55M to build a cross-platform engine for procedural game content

Forge Foundry announced a $55 million Series B to scale its procedural content engine aimed at live-service and open-world titles. The engine generates scalable content—levels, dungeons, asset variations—while preserving handcrafted narrative anchors defined by designers.
Forge Foundry's workflow allows designers to pin narrative beats and quality constraints, and the engine produces dozens of candidate content sets for QA curation. Studios using the engine report significant reductions in level production time and increased content A/B experimentation.
The new capital will expand Forge's cloud rendering and variant testing infrastructure, add native plugins for major engines, and develop governance tooling for content pipelines. The company says it will focus on improving determinism and artist-driven controls to fit into existing production workflows.
