ForgeAI introduces design-to-code generator for cross-platform apps, raises $48M

ForgeAI's generator consumes design files and produces modular, testable components compatible with React, SwiftUI, and Jetpack Compose, including accessible semantics and token-driven styling. The product integrates into CI and provides diffs and refactor suggestions so engineers can review generated code as part of normal workflows.

The $48 million Series B — led by Orion Capital — will fund deeper IDE integrations, improved engineering-grade output, and partnerships with enterprise design systems. ForgeAI stressed that their approach prioritizes readable, lint-friendly code to reduce technical debt.

Engineering managers said the product could significantly reduce repetitive front-end work while preserving code ownership. ForgeAI plans to add component lifecycle management features so generated components can be safely evolved alongside hand-written code.
