FormaGen ingests functional constraints—loads, material profiles, assembly points—and outputs parametric families with manufacturing-ready annotations. Outputs include support structures, draft angles, and export-ready meshes for downstream CAM workflows.

Beta customers reported significantly reduced iteration cycles when exploring lightweight structures and assembly-friendly enclosures. FormaGen’s approach blends topology optimization with designer-guided primitives to keep results interpretable.

The company is positioning itself against both CAD incumbents and specialist generative solvers by offering a collaborative UI where engineers can guide solutions and lock geometry for aesthetics or supply chain constraints.
