Foundry Metrics raises $25M to ship DesignPulse, a real-time research platform for product teams

DesignPulse allows teams to push micro-studies—card sorts, short tasks, and preference tests—directly into live products or prototypes and collect targeted, contextual feedback. Foundry Metrics promises low-lift studies that yield faster, quantitative insights than traditional lab-based research.

The funding round, led by Summit Ventures, will be used to scale infrastructure for high-frequency testing and expand templated study types for common designer questions. DesignPulse also includes recruitment orchestration for representative sampling and automated reporting that maps insights to design decisions.

Early adopters reported that embedding studies into sprints helped prioritize changes and reduced gut-based decision-making. Foundry plans to add cross-study analytics that reveal longer-term trends and to integrate with design tools so findings can attach directly to components and frames.
