FrameAI closed a $45 million Series A led by Meridian Capital with participation from Helix Growth and Northbridge Ventures, marking one of the largest design-AI rounds this quarter. The company says the funding will accelerate R&D and enterprise sales for its product that automates UI generation from specifications and Figma files.
The product, released in beta to select customers earlier this year, converts plain-language product requirements into fully interactive mockups and React components, plus accessibility annotations. FrameAI emphasized integration with existing design systems and a model governance layer for enterprise IT teams.
Founders said the next milestones include a hosted design system marketplace, deeper component-level code export, and an SDK for popular design tools. Early customers in fintech and healthcare reported 3x faster prototyping cycles during pilots, which Meridian identified as a key driver for the investment.
