FrameCraft releases Loom: a real-time collaborative prototyping tool with AI-driven interactions

Loom is designed to let teams sketch interactive prototypes together in one environment while AI suggests transitions, microinteractions, and state machines. The product supports live editing and can export clean, annotated specs for developers to implement.

AI assistants in Loom analyze designs to propose motion curves, responsive constraints, and fallback states for different screen sizes. The tool also auto-generates accessibility overlays and test-cases for common input scenarios.

FrameCraft said the $14 million seed extension will be used to enhance the AI's contextual understanding of design intent, build offline-first capabilities, and expand enterprise governance features. Union Square Ventures led the round with participation from design-focused angels.

Teams trialing Loom reported faster prototyping cycles and smoother handoffs, with the AI removing much of the mechanical choreography work. Loom will offer freemium access for small teams and paid tiers for organizational controls and private cloud hosting.
