FrameForge launches subscription CNC design-to-part platform for product teams
Tech · 3 min read
FrameForge connects to popular CAD systems and automates CAM tasks such as nesting, toolpath generation, and machine-specific optimizations. The platform exposes constraints and editable parameters so engineers can tweak feeds, speeds, and cut orders before exporting G-code.
The $9 million seed was led by MakerFund and will accelerate integrations with machine tool vendors, expand supported materials, and build a marketplace for certified CNC shops. FrameForge will also invest in offline simulation and collision-checking capabilities.
The company offers a subscription with tiered cloud compute for complex jobs; smaller teams can run a local agent for on-premises toolpath generation. Early customers report significant reductions in setup time and fewer machining errors during first production runs.
