FrameForge raises $16M to release a collaborative video prototype tool for UX
Design · 4 min read
FrameForge transforms wireframes and interactive flows into staged video prototypes, complete with camera movements, voiceovers, and simulated device interactions. Teams can use it to demo motion, handoff interaction timing, and produce launch videos directly from prototypes.
The $16 million funding, led by MediaWorks, will expand cloud rendering, team collaboration features, and integrations with prototyping platforms like Principle and Figma. FrameForge aims to streamline the process of creating user-facing walkthroughs and launch demos.
Product marketers and UX leads liked the potential to reduce production time for launch materials and user tests, though some suggested better support for accessibility annotations and automated subtitles. FrameForge plans to add an accessibility layer and closed-caption auto-generation in the next release.
