FrameForge secures $18M to build AI-assisted motion design tools for short-form video

FrameForge announced MotionSketch, a web app that transforms static brand assets into animated short-form videos using AI-assisted timing, easing, and camera moves tuned for social platforms. MotionSketch supports multi-screen aspect ratios and includes export presets for ads and organic content.
The funding, an $18 million Series A led by Kinetic Growth Partners, will be used to enrich the animation templates library, improve style transfer for brand consistency, and add a collaborative timeline for marketing teams. FrameForge says MotionSketch reduces post-production time from hours to minutes for common ad formats.
Motion designers can adjust generated motion curves and swap animations per layer; FrameForge exposes the generated keyframes so designers retain control. The company also announced a brand safety mode that locks colors, logos, and typography to maintain brand compliance across video variants.
FrameForge will roll out an enterprise plan with SAML SSO and API access to marketing automation platforms. The startup positions itself as a bridge between generative tools and production-ready motion, aiming to reduce bottlenecks in campaign iteration cycles.
