FrameKit launches 'Responsive AI' to auto-generate adaptive UI layouts
Design · 3 min read
FrameKit’s Responsive AI automatically takes a single master layout and generates multiple adaptive variants, including mobile, tablet, desktop, and high-contrast accessible versions. The feature integrates with major UI libraries and exports production-ready component code.
Alongside the product launch, FrameKit disclosed a $12 million Series A led by Harbor Capital. The investment will go toward improving constraint-solving algorithms, building developer SDKs, and hiring designers to audit generated layouts for contextual appropriateness.
Designers who tested the feature praised the time savings on layout iteration, but emphasized the need for guardrails to maintain brand-specific spacing and typography. FrameKit is positioning the tool as an augmentation that reduces repetitive resizing work while leaving high-level creative decisions to humans.
