FrameKit raises $4.2M to launch a marketplace for verified design system components
Design · 3 min read
FrameKit launched a marketplace offering verified UI components that are pre-audited for accessibility, performance, and cross-framework compatibility. Each component includes semantic metadata, versioning, and test scaffolding to help teams ship safely.
The $4.2 million seed round will be used to grow the verification team, establish compatibility gates for React, Vue, Svelte, and native runtimes, and add enterprise procurement features. FrameKit emphasizes that buying verified components should reduce time spent on internal audits and refactors.
Customers appreciate the ability to search by token usage, performance profile, and accessibility checks. FrameKit plans a certification badge system and integration plugins for package managers and design tools to ensure design tokens map correctly to component props.
