Framer 2026 launches native 3D prototyping and LLM-driven component synthesis

Framer's 3D prototyping supports imported glTF assets, physics-based interactions, and native device sensors for AR previews. Designers can now build spatial product demos in the same environment they use for UI prototypes, and share interactive builds via URL.

The LLM-driven component synthesis feature takes text prompts and a design frame to output parameterized React components, complete with props and simple state logic. Generated code is annotated for handoff and designed to integrate with existing component libraries.

Framer emphasized guardrails: the generated components reference an internal design system token set and include warnings when a prompt requests complex logic beyond the system's safe generation scope. Teams reported that the synthesis tool accelerates internal demos and reduces boilerplate when crafting iterative prototypes.
