Framer adds AI-driven interaction suggestions and motion generator

The interaction assistant analyzes component structure and suggested user flows to propose transitions, hover states, and page-level animations. Designers can accept, tweak, or reject suggestions; accepted interactions are added as editable timelines with explicit easing curves and keyframes.

The motion generator uses heuristics trained on common UX patterns to create context-aware timing (for instance, subtle delays for toasts, spring animations for dragging). It also outputs production-ready CSS and Lottie animations to bridge the gap between prototype and implementation.

Framer reported that teams using these features cut animation authoring time by roughly half in early trials. The company emphasized export fidelity: developers receive clear specs and exported assets to reproduce interactions accurately in native code.
