Framer debuts AI-driven responsive components and code export for React Native
Design · 4 min read
Framer released an update that adds AI-driven responsive components which automatically infer constraints, spacing, and interaction hooks suitable for mobile and web breakpoints. Designers can create a single component and let Framer generate variants and prop maps for each viewport.
A major addition is first-class React Native export: the platform generates clean component code, stylesheets, and navigation scaffolding customized for React Native and Expo projects. Developers can import the output into their codebases with minimal refactoring.
Framer's CTO noted the feature reduces repetition by automating pattern creation and encourages designers to think in terms of components rather than static screens. The company also included auditing tools that surface divergence between the design and exported code so teams can iterate faster.
