Framer integrates private LLM endpoints for component-generation workflows
Design · 3 min read
Framer’s private endpoint integration enables enterprises to use internal models or cloud VPCs to power Framer Assistants. Teams can route prompts and assets through their own models for generation while retaining Framer’s collaborative UI.
The feature supports verifiable prompts and generation logs for audit trails, which is particularly appealing to regulated industries. Framer also added throttling and quota controls so organizations can manage inference costs and maintain predictable performance.
Designers reported that private endpoints improved trust and shortened cycles when using proprietary design systems. Framer plans to publish guides for integrating popular enterprise model offerings and for deploying small-footprint on-premise models.
