Framer introduces AI-driven interaction suggestions and motion presets
Design · 3 min read
Framer’s assistant scans components, state transitions, and user flows to propose interaction patterns—like drag-to-reveal, progressive disclosure, or spring-based micro-interactions—and offers ready-to-use motion presets. Suggestions include recommended durations, delay offsets, and easing curves aligned with platform norms.
The system also produces preview timelines and export-ready code snippets for Framer Motion and CSS, speeding up the step from static mock to high-fidelity prototype. Designers can lock suggested behaviors to components or propagate them across component instances in a design system.
Framer said the feature was developed with motion designers to avoid generic, cookie-cutter animations and to prioritize accessibility, recommending reduced-motion variants automatically. The update is available now to Pro users and in enterprise trials.
