Framer introduces MotionIQ: AI-driven interaction generator for micro-interactions
Design · 4 min read
MotionIQ lets designers describe desired behavior in plain language or sketch a sequence; the system generates keyframes, easing curves, and recommended durations that can be applied directly in Framer’s timeline. The generated interactions are editable and exportable as CSS/JS snippets for engineers.
Framer also added a motion library with categorized presets (feedback, navigation, loading) and accessibility adjustments for reduced-motion preferences. MotionIQ suggests alternative interaction variants tuned for performance budgets and different device form factors.
The company says MotionIQ reduces the friction of producing refined prototypes and helps smaller teams ship micro-interactions that previously required dedicated motion designers. Framer will offer community-contributed motion packs and a public gallery to accelerate adoption.
