Framer Studio adds motion-aware generation for interactive prototypes

Designers can now describe interactions like "card flip with natural easing and bounce" and receive a timeline of keyframes, easing curves, and code handlers. Framer’s models also suggest staggered timings for lists and adaptive physics for drag interactions.
The generated interactions are exported as production-friendly animations and come with accessibility fallbacks like reduced-motion variants. Framer included a visual editor to tune generated timing and export assets to multiple runtime frameworks.
While it accelerates micro-interaction design, motion designers warned about potential overreliance on defaults, which may homogenize interactions across products. Framer plans to introduce style templates that encourage unique motion languages.
