Framer Studio adds prototyping SDK for model-driven micro-interactions
Design · 4 min read
The Framer prototyping SDK enables designers to wire models to UI elements so micro-interactions—tooltips, error states, microcopy—are generated contextually during user flows. Designers can simulate different user personas and test how adaptive messaging affects usability.
The SDK includes utilities for caching outputs, debouncing generation requests, and simulating latency to evaluate perceived performance. Teams can export the interaction scripts and turn them into lightweight runtime hooks for development.
Framer also provided sample components for accessibility-aware prompts and error-recovery messaging, helping teams prototype more resilient micro-interactions. The company said the SDK closes a gap between static prototypes and AI-driven dynamic behavior testing.
