Framer Studio introduces AI Motion Studio: generate native animations from text and sketches

AI Motion Studio allows designers to describe intent—'slide in with spring easing, then bounce out'—or draw rough keyframes and receive a timeline with easing curves, keyframe values, and export-ready code for Framer, CSS, or Lottie. The assistant also suggests timing adjustments based on UI heuristics and accessibility best practices.

Motion Studio includes a library of validated motion presets inspired by real applications and can infer intent from component types (e.g., modal vs. toast). For teams using design systems, Motion Studio ties micro-animations to named tokens so behaviors can be consistently applied and updated globally.

Framer emphasized control: generated animations are editable at every step and come with explanations of why certain curves or durations were chosen. This transparency is intended to keep designers in the loop rather than produce black-box animations that are hard to maintain.
